These diagrams were for a chapter by Katrine Whiteson et al. on the oral microbiome. They wanted to show the gathering pace of discovery in the research area and look at the architecture of the oral microbiome at different scales. This was for a Springer title, Salivary Bioscience – Foundations of Interdisciplinary Saliva Research and Applications.
